Purdue University’s Opportunity Motorsports and Circle Bound Racing Hold Open House
On Saturday February 11, Purdue University’s Opportunity Motorsports and Circle Bound Racing officially kicked off the start of their partnership for the 2006 racing season. The two organizations hosted an open house at the shop of Circle Bound Racing in Brownsburg, Indiana where they expounded upon the details of their partnership and released their tentative 2006 racing schedule. Additionally, the organizations and their members continued to develop contacts with corporations, individuals, and members of the local community that will help to ensure the success of both organizations for many years to come.
The Partnership-
During the 2006 racing season, members of Opportunity Motorsports will take on integral roles in the Circle Bound Racing late model operation. These members will provide enthusiastic manpower and educated innovation to both the business and technical aspects of the racing program. This youth and energy will be complemented well by the existing facilities, equipment, and experienced leadership at Circle Bound Racing. Longtime racers Chet Blanton and crew chief Jerry Powell bring more than 80 combined years of racing experience together to form the foundation for this exciting partnership.
