First Anime ?

My First anime was a mix between Pokemon and DBZ. Sure they are very typical, but eh, I liked them and they were the few anime that i had at my limited disposal.

It's hard to say, because I didn't know what anime was for a long time, and hardly differed it from looney toons. (I was 5, so didn't know better.)
I would have to say Dexter's Lab, or Thundercats, or something from around then. Usual stuff that aired on Toonami in the late 90's, you know?

My first was DBZ. I really loved the show and would watch it everyday after school. I used to get frustrated so much because the action would last 10 seconds which was amazing and then they would spend the rest of the time talking, powering up, or commercials.

That's easy. Back when Toonami was in existance and when they had the first Tom, I believe, it was even the first show to show, my first Anime was Ronin Warriors. <3 Good times, back when they had Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Outlaw Star, and Tenchi.
Yeah, most of my fav shows are shounens, but they were better, I thought.

DBZ, Gundam Wing, Trigun and Ruroni Kenshin. Feel the urge to go back and re-watch.

If memory serves correctly, it was DBZ. Pokemon, samurai jack, and tenchi were probably among the first anime series I saw as well.

If I wanted to be technical, my first real anime would have to be Doremon and Shinchan.

god I feel slightly old with all these people putting DBZ as their first anime's. I mean I watched it too, but i was slightly older than the average viewer.

Yeah, and you feel old. My first anime was in 1994. The freshmen were born in '91-'92.
