AMVs, MADs, Songs, and other such things

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I guessed here.

How many out there enjoy watching a good amv off of Youtube? Personally, I've got a ton of favorites off there. If there's any you love and want to share, post them here.

Also, are the AMVs shown in the club made by the club members, or were they just found online somewhere?

Though I don't really know the policy on showing AMVs club members have made, but feel free to show them off here.

We haven't really had many AMVs made by club members over the years. One of our esteemed former presidents (from back before even I joined the club if that seems remotely possible) was involved in fansubbing and making AMVs, and we used to show off whatever he made if he brought them in.

Of course, he was apparently a fairly big deal for a bit in the AMV scene. Served as an Iron AMV Producer a few times to my knowledge at major cons.

I see. I would make them, but I don't know anything about how. Does anyone else in the club know about making AMVs?
For that matter, how much do people here care for AMVs?

One of my friends from up north is an award winning AMV maker dude guy.
He's continually told me that part of making a good AMVv is to not use Windows Movie Maker or hardsubbed scenes.
He also would say not to use Naruto, Bleach, or Linkin Park type things.

Pretty much go on YouTube and search "AMV". Don't do what those videos do.

I personally think the stuff is only OK (at least since the last time I had it), but they have good commercials.
