Ohayocon 2011

Ohayocon 2011

Postby madmantheo » Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:35 pm

As usual, a group of us will be traveling to Ohayocon in the semi-near future, so I'll get the thread started to see who all is interested.

The con takes place January 28-30th in Columbus, Ohio, which is a 4-5 hour drive from Lafayette. Badges are $35 if you pre-reg before Oct. 31st, $45 before Jan. 10, and $50 at the door. Hotel typically will run $35-50 depending on the number of people and how many we cram into each room.

This is a much larger convention than Anime Crossroads (700 attendees at ACross, 10,000 last year at Ohayocon), so there are numerous more activities and a sizeable dealer's room.

Post in this thread if you're interested in attending; I intend to reserve hotel rooms in the next week or two based off those interested. Also, if you have an automobile at your disposal and would be willing to drive, be sure to include that info.

We've always had a blast at Ohayocon in the past, so you should seriously consider making the trip.

It's a bit earlier to state for sure, but I plan on attempting all conventions available, including Ohayocon.
