Synopses for week 1

So first I would like to say sorry for this getting up so late. I've had a really hectic week. I hope this getting up late didn't inconveniance anyone.

PARASYTE
Our main character, Shinichi Izumi, ends up with a parasite on his right hand. The parasite was trying to take over his whole body,but Shinichi managed to stop it. The parasite has a mind of its own and normally looks just like Shinichi's original hand. Similar incidents happen in other locations.


GEKKAN SHOUJO NOZAKI KUN
Chiyo Sakura tries to confess to her crush, Umetero Nozaki, and gets his autograph instead. Then, after saying she always wants to be with him, Nozaki takes her home. Where she ends up helping him with his manga. Later they end up coming up with romantic ideas and try to see if any of them would work. When Sakura tries to confess again she gets another autograph. In the end, Nozaki introduces Sakura to his friend.


YOUR LIE IN APRIL
When piano prodigy Kousei Arima was 12 his mother died. Afterwards he was unable to play the piano. So he quits the piano. In April two years later he meets a girl playing a melodica while going to a rendezvuous spot with his friend Ryota Watari to meet a girl who has a crush on Watari. The girl who has a crush on Watari and the girl playing the melodica are one and the same, Kaori Miyazono, and she is a violinist.

We start with a flashback of four friends, Haruka Nanase, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rin Matsuoka, in grade school and how Haruka wanted nothing more than to be a freestyle swimmer. In the present, Makoto picks up Haruka for their second day of their second year at Iwatobi High. While at school the run into Nagisa who has recently transferred. Nagisa says that he wishes to swim with Haruka like they used to and that they should dig up an old time capsule. They sneak into Iwatobi Swimming Club to dig up the time capsule. While there we get another flashback of the last race the four friends had swum before Rin moved to Australia for swimming school. Afterwards the group runs into Rin who immediately challenges Haruka to a race. The pool is empty and they can't swim though. The next evening Makoto and Nagisa visit Haruka and discover a scarlet haired girl who is Rin's sister, Go Matsuoka, and find out that Rin is attending Samezuka Academy. Haruka, Makoto, and Nagisa go to the academy where they again meet Rin. Haruka challenges Rin to a freestyle race.


ALDNOAH.ZERO
The Apollo 17 mission found technology known as the Hypergate on the moon allowing humans to settle on Mars. There they find more ancient Aldnoah technology that the immigrants, who founded the Vers empire, claim. This leads to a war between Earth and Mars. During a battle the moon is destroyed in an event known as Heaven's fall. 15 years after the fall the Princess of Vers, Asseylum Vers Allusia, goes to Earth on a peace mission. Inaho Kaizuki and his friends go to see Asseylum's arrival when terrorists attack. It is believed that the princess is killed. In retaliation the Martian Vers Orbital Knights start an all out assault on Earth, destroying several major Earth cities while landing their castles.


AKATSUKI NO YONA
Princess Yona, the only child of the ruler of the Kouka Kingdom, Emperor IL, is determined to impress her older cousin, Soo-won, and make it clear to her father that she wants to be with Soo-won. IL, being the one who will decide who his successor will be, does not approve and interrupts Yona when she tries to confess to Soo-won. At Yona's birthday party Soo-won gives her a hairpin and tells her that her hair is the color of the sky at dawn. Yona decides to convince her father again, but when she gets to her father's room she sees Soo-won stab her him.


DEATH PARADE
Newlyweds Takashi and Machiko find themselves at the Quindecim bar, where the bartender, Decim, has them stake their lives in a game of darts. Each dart landed causes their partner great pain. During the game Takashi suspects that Machiko had been cheating and tries to bend the game in his favor. Machiko states that this isn't true and wins the game. After the game it is revealed that they both died in a car crash because of Takashi's jealousy. Machiko claims she only married him for his money. Decim then prevents Takashi further attacking Machiko and sends them to the elevators where Takashi is reincarnated and Machiko is sent to the void.
