Synopses Week 2-8 (3/24/16)

AKATSUKI NO YONA
Captain Gigan discusses the plan to stop Yan Kumji, and the danger of Kumji using the slaves as hostages. The problem being that they won't know which ship the woman and children will be on. The following day, Jae-ha invites Yona to scout the town with him. They meet a woman whose friend was kidnapped in a shop belonging to Yan Kumji. They return to the pirate's hideout and Yona volunteers to infiltrate the shop, in order to signal with fireworks which ship the hostages will be on. Captain Gigan agrees, with the condition that she goes with Yun.



AMAGI BRILLIANT PARK
Seiya gets a summer cold but he can't afford to skip school due to his earlier absences. Sento, Macaron, Tiramie and Moffle wear a realistic suit of his body one person per day and attend school in his stead. On the first day, Isuzu finds a love letter in Kanie's shoe locker but the sender, Tsuchida Kanae, had only mixed up his locker with someone else. As Sento tells her inspiring words, Kanae ends up developing feelings for Kanie instead. The next two days end up with disgusting incidents due to the mascots' behavior, while the forth day ends peacefully due to Kanie wearing a suit of a boy to whom Kanae had tried to send the letter originally, Kimura, and lying that all the disgusting acts from 'Kanie' the days before were meant to drive Kanae back to Kimura by making her hate Kanie.



YOUR LIE IN APRIL
The date of the finals is coming close and Kaori is pushing Kōsei to keep practicing, but whenever he visits with everyone else he says nothing. Tsubaki keeps doing well on her tests and pushes forward to be with Kōsei. During a rainstorm the Tsubaki tells him that Watari likes Kaori and his only choice is to fall in love with her, then kicks him in the shin and runs off. Later Kaori calls him about a late night flight and watching the stars in the sky. The next day Watari and Kōsei go to the hospital, where Kōsei admits he likes Kaori, to which Watari replies that that was obvious and he already knew that. But when they get to her room, the two boys instead see nurses scrambling to move Kaori to the ICU as her condition got drastically worse.



FREE!
Makoto starts helping Goro at the Swimming Club, acting as a coach teaching children to swim. Meanwhile, Sousuke decides to help coach Aiichirou to improve his swimming. As Makoto notices one of his students, Hayato, struggling with swimming without a kick board, he discovers his brother is Kisumi Shigino, an old classmate from his and Haruka's middle school. As the two reminisce, Kisumi explains to Makoto how Hayato developed a fear of swimming after he nearly drowned after falling off a boat. Told by Haruka to think over his own experiences of learning to swim, Makoto teaches Hayato how to do a backstroke, helping him to overcome his fear. As Makoto's time as a coach comes to an end, he and Haruka learn from Kisumi that Sousuke had recently obtained an injury to his shoulder and had been competing in tournaments in spite of it.



OVERLORD
Clementine appears in front of Nfirea and prepares to kidnap him. The Swords of Darkness attempt to buy time for Nfirea and Ninya to escape but Khajiit blocks their way of escape which leads to the members being slaughtered. After registering Hamsuke at the Adventurer's Guild, Momon's group meets Lizzie Bareare and guides them to her house. However, they found the Swords of Darkness, who were turned into zombies. After killing them off, Momon immediately deduces three things: first, whoever did it didn't care about hiding the bodies meaning they had time. Second, whoever killed the Swords of Darkness did so with a piercing weapon. Third, their target was Nfirea. With this knowledge, Momon asks Lizzie if she wants to hire him to save her grandson at the cost of all she has. Agreeing to the pseudo "Faustian Contract", Momon uses several locator spells to track Clementine to an old cemetery on the edge of the kingdom. Using Crystal Monitor, Momon discovers an undead army with Nfirea at it's center. Alerting Lizzie to the threat, Momon immediately rushes to the cemetery. Upon arriving at the gate, Momon astonishes the guards by single-handedly annihilating the undead attacking them despite the fact he was a copper plate. Along with Nabe and Hamsuke, Momon carves a path to Khajiit and Clementine. Confronting them, he mocks Khajiit and demands that they hand over Nfirea while also drawing out Clementine. Momon then leaves Nabe to deal with Khajiit while he and Clementine leave to take their battle elsewhere. As Momon and Clementine are walking, the latter attempts to psychologically taunt Momon. Momon brushes it off with laughter, and then enrages Clementine when he declares he doesn't need to fight seriously to kill her.



BEYOND THE BOUNDARY
Akihito receives a postcard from Yayoi, warning them of the coming of the Calm as the city starts feeling its effects. Ai and Ayaka explain that during the Calm, all youmu become severely weakened and warns that Akihito could potentially lose his immortality during the period. As the group later heads home, Miroku intercepts Mitsuki and explains that the mirrored phenomenon she witnessed was actually a fraction of a youmu known as the one Beyond the Boundary. Miroku further explains that he was sent to investigate the Nase family's plans for this youmu by the Society and learned that Izumi had saved Mirai from being killed by the Inami clan following Yui's death. Overlooking the golden sunset by the shoreline, Hiroomi then intervenes and attacks Miroku before the latter escapes. Elsewhere, Akihito awakens on the train home following a horrible flashback before Izumi puts him sleep once more. Afterwards, Ayaka decides to watch over Akihito at her shop as he starts feeling the Calm's effects. Afterwards the Calm finally begins at midnight and the Spirit World Warriors of the city including Shizuku and Izumi start slaughtering any and all youmu in sight. Meanwhile, as Hiroomi and Mitsuki try to understand the conflict between their clan and the Society, they learn of Akihito's state and notice a giant youmu while Sakura manages to convince Mirai to return to Akihito's side. At the same time, Ayaka intercepts Miroku outside her shop following his intention to capture Akihito for the Society and attacks him in her youmu form. However before Ayaka becomes overpowered, Izumi intervenes and stops Miroku's attack. Finally, as Mirai hurries back to the shop, Akihito's youmu half awakens.



PARASYTE
A failed escape attempt and civilian panic gives Takeshi's group the opportunity to slip away. The police storm the Town Hall to bring them down, but chaos ensues when the cops encounter Gotou, an enemy too strong for them to handle.
