They were killed because they were running and hiding from the curse. Who is it that the counter-measure president remembers in her dreams? The class has returned to the shrine's resort. They brought the tape and pose for pictures. No one seems very happy. They've got the whole building to themselves and the friends decide to finish the tape. It works! The boy who stopped the curse had killed another boy in an arguement. Turns out that, afterwards, no one else remembered the dead guy existed. He was the ghost student. The way to end the curse is to kill those who are already dead. But there's no way to tell the difference from the living and the dead. Confrontation during dinner. Counter measures blames Mei for not trying hard enough. Mei is defended but decides to apologize anyways. Asthma attack! His inhaler is out. The librarian takes him to the hospital. Mei wants to see the picture. Her doll eye can see the color of death. That's how she knows he's not dead. Mei is adopted because her current mother lost her own daughter. Her real mother (her aunt) keeps her twin. That was the girl she was visiting at the begining, her cousin who was also her sister. They met up and were getting close when she died. One of the friends bursts in, "I think I mght have done something bad."
