Two brother, Mutta and Hibito, make a childhood promise to both become astronauts. Years later, Hibito is on his way to the moon and Mutta gets fired from his job as a car designer (for headbutting his boss). Mutta slowly remembers his promise to always stay ahead of his younger brother and WHat! His mom submitted his application to Astronaught School? What will happen next?

Mutta got accepted! Now he must go through rigorous examination. Only two or three will become astronaughts. As he loses hope, Mutta visits an Aunt who says you "must first make noise before you can make music". Mutta passes the first, but OH NO a loose screw distracts him during his interview! But wait, was that on purpose? What will become of our misfit hero?

Mutta is feeling a little insecure. Other (younger) applicants are totally showing him up. Everyelse believes he was given pointers by his brother, so now Mutta is at a severe disadvantage. Pressed up against the dispay, Mutta tries to see himself within a spacesuit and is caught! But wait, she does it too! Is this love in the air? Our hopes go out to Mutta as he faces even more challenges ahead.

Final interview is the end of the second exam! Training video and the psych exam felt like an interegation. "Did you find something new about youorself recently?" The spot on the wall next to Hibito's picture is still open, so Mutta marks it with his spit... Group picture and we find out that the other guy answered with his newfound love for fiction books. Mutta's answer? He makes lots of bubbles in the shower...E-mail addresses are exchanged and they shake hands (again!). After getting a new phone, Mutta agrees to go to Houston!

He's in Texas, so he immediately gets a cowboy hat. Apo the dog chases him around the park and we find out that it's Hibito's dog. I can cover the moon with my thumb, so it's no big deal. But Mutta's insecurities make an appearance and Hibito say he's "No fun anymore". A Mr. and Mrs. Smith walk his dog. Everyone loves Hibito. "Why did you come?" Everyday Hibito was "missing" Mutta. Mutta declares "I'm going tomorrow and I'll get up earlier."

Mutta finaly goes to Johnson Space Center. But the committe in Japan knows about the headbutting incident! Hibito is always trying his best, sprinting while others jog. Called Samurai Boy. He also talks about Mutta on TV, how embarrassing. Mutta's old boss holds a grudge and blows the story out of proportion. A flashback! Mutta and Hibito as children can recite the tour script better than the staff! Mutta's also been headbutting people for a while to protect his brother. One of the members of the board is from Mutta's past and is rooting for him. Goes to find out the truth.

BUBBLES!!! In the old days, he was rollin' Mutta, but now he's over 30. Listen to the TV and radio and read the newspaper all at once to impress his little brother. Skills beyond belief, but... The fire-extinguisher robber runs amuck? What went wrong, why can't he challenge Hibito? The astronauts have to memorize the airlock in case they get moon dust in their eyes! Mutta's watching the Texas news? He had luck on his side, but Hibito's getting fed up. "If you give up, it wasn't your dream". The dog walkers return! Out to lunch but wait! The fire extinquisher robber appears!

Mutta's on National TV!?!?!?! He captures the robber with a headbutt! It's super effective. Well... actually, he was running away, tried to save the dog and fell into the robber, but whatever. Details, schetails. He tells his "truth" because them American girls are BUSTY! He swears to uphold justice for America! The old man dog walker proclaims "Luck is what you make it!" Whoohoo he passed the exam! What did Hibito hide in Mutta's room? Mutta returns home.

Crashing!??!?! The hidden thing was Hibito's will. Accidents happen, but... All astronauts write wills, but this is his little brother. Mutta finaly meets Kenji's family. He's got a 2 year old daughter? That's going to be hard, being away for so many years. Only 5 moved on to the next round. Mutta forgot the autographs so he forges them and kisses them for good measure. Serika wants to make medicine in space because of the possible breakthroughs. Does Mutta have a reason?
