Satan plans to overthrow the four continents and rule supreme and a hero rises to fight him. Satan flees into a portal to return at a later time. They appear in modern day Japan. They have to live as regular humans until they can regenerate their magic. They finally find a place to rent, though it's small and only one room. They also apply to jobs so they can eat. Satan works at a fast food restaurant. He has to restrain himself from using the last of his magic to fix the fry machine. But he becomes a full-time employee and is so excited. He meets the hero woman who he fought back at home.

The Hero Emilia followed them through the gate. She's going to gut him with the one dollar knife. The cops think it was a lover's quarrel. She answers complaint calls as a job and isn't nearly as poor as them. She founds out where they live and visits. He reveals his plans to rule the world with MagRonalds. She decides to follow them around to find out their devious plans... and it's totally not evil. His coworker is worried that he has a girlfriend. Someone shoots at the Hero and Satan during a meeting. She spends the night because she dropped her purse and Satan is threatened with more earthquakes from an unknown number.
