I love the glow stick suggestion. When I have more time I'll have to look over this site in more detail, but it looks very helpful. I think next semester, since I'll be in same room and probably moved in before my new roomate, I'm just going to set everything up how I want it after my parents leave. If my new roomie has a problem with it they can move to a different room, I guess. Even better, next semester, I get to start out with my car right away so I don't have to worry about parents coming up to my room and suddenly enrolling me in a Catholic College!  I can't wait to actually "use" my paint flinging alter cloth instead of hiding it in my closet!
