Seniors
#3 Chris Kramer (6'3, Guard, 214 lbs. Huntington, In):

Kramer, the Big Ten defensive player of the year in 2008, is the fearless leader of the team. When Kramer decides to force his will, there isn't much that can stop him. He has shown the ability to hit the three and is a good rebounder at times.
#5 Keaton Grant (6'4, Guard, 201 lbs. Kissimmee, Fl):

Grant was the team MVP for the 2007-2008 season. He is a very good perimeter defender and is as clutch as they come. He is one of the better three point shooters on the team, and has shown the ability to drive to finish around the basket.
#30 Mark Wohlford (6'0, Guard, 186 lbs. Columbus, In):

Mark joined the team early in the 2007 season as a walkon, and remains in that role today. Mark is known for the hustle he shows on the court, and like most born and raised in Indiana kids, has a very good shot.
Juniors
#4 Robbie Hummel (6'8, Forward, 208 lbs. Valparaiso, In):

Hummel is Purdue's glue guy, he rebounds, steals the ball, finds teammates, blocks shots, scores, shoots a high percentage from field, he can literally do everything. He was picked as Big Ten Preseason Player of the year prior to the 2008-2009 season, but injuries have caused his numbers to decline.
#33 E'Twaun Moore (6'4, Guard, 184 lbs. East Chicago, In):

More is the teams best scorer. He can beat you on the offensive end in many different ways, whether it be a driving layup, a floater in the lane, a midrange jumper or a 3 pointer. He is also the teams best rebounding guard. Moore has NBA potential.
#25 JaJuan Johnson (6'10, Forward, 215 lbs. Indianapolis, In):

JJ was the most improved player over the course of the 2008-2009 season. He has become an amazing shot blocker and a scoring machine. He earned all-Big Ten first team honors in 2009.
Sophomores
#23 Lewis Jackson (5'9, Guard, 165 lbs. Decatur, Il):

Jackson exceeded expectations as a true-freshman for the Boilers. Jackson earned a starting role as a true freshman, and is very good at finding his teammates and running the floor for the Boilers.
#24 Ryne Smith (6'3, Guard, 175 lbs. Toledo, Oh):

Smith was brought in to be a three-point specialist. Unfortunately, he missed quite a bit of practice time early in his freshman season with an injury, and hasn't seen much playing time since.
#32 John Hart (6'2, Guard, 180 lbs. Beech Grove, In):

John is a redshirt freshman eligibility-wise this season, and looks to see time as a point guard. John has received high reviews from both his team and his coaches. We should expect him to be one of the better on ball defenders we have this season, and he is supposedly a pretty good three point shooter as well. John will have four years of eligibility remaining starting with the 2009-2010 season.
#2 Andrew Day (6'0, Guard, 179 lbs. West Lafayette, In):

Bubba joined the basketball team as a walkon during his freshman season. It is rumored that Coach Painter saw him competing in a game of "knockout" at a Paint Crew party and offered him a tryout.
Freshmen
#21 DJ Byrd (6'5, Guard/Forward, 214 lbs. Crawfordsville, In):

Byrd joins the Boilers as quite possibly one of the most recognizeable incoming freshmen in recent history. This is because DJ was at nearly every Purdue home game for the past two seasons. DJ is a very strong Guard who can score from everywhere and has an amazing 3-point shot.
#41 Patrick Bade (6'8, Forward, 235 lbs. Indianapolis, In):

Patrick Bade is a power forwward who runs the floor exceptionaly well. He is able to step out and hit a jumper, and once had a game in high school where he collected 22 rebounds. He was recruited by many Big Ten schools as a Tight End before deciding on basketball
#55 Sandi Marcius (6'9, Forward, 261 lbs. LaPorte, In):

Sandi was a late commitment to the incoming Purdue class. He will be very good in the post and has the ability to step out and hit a shot from about 15 feet.
#12 Kelsey Barlow (6'5, Guard/Forward, 199 lbs. Indianapolis, In):

Barlow can do just about everything, much like Robbie Hummel. Barlow can score inside and out, and can guard anyone from point guards to power forwards successfully.
#20 Kyle Coleman (6'4, Forward, 197 lbs. Tipton, In):

If Kyle Coleman was a little taller, he would be playing on scholarship somewhere. Fortunately for us, he has accepted an offer to walk on to our team this year. He is a very polished low post scorer and one of the best walkons we could possibly have join the team.
#1 Stevie Loveless (6'5, Guard/Forward, 196 lbs. Frankfort, In):

Stevie (left) turned down several division II scholarship offers to walk on with the Boilers this season. We saw him play once and all we could think was "poor man's Robbie Hummel." I wouldn't be surprised if we finds the floor before his career at Purdue ends.
#14 Dru Anthrop (6'0, Guard, 176 lbs. Lafayette, In):

Dru joins the Boilers as a walkon this season, fresh off being named the Lafayette area's small school basketball player of the year. He will play guard for the Boilers, and again, is one of the best walkons Purdue could have gotten.
Coming Soon: Travis Carroll, Anthony Johnson, Terone Johnson, and Donnie Hale
