Sept. 9-11 - Kenny Brown Performance is holding an event at the Putnam County raceway this coming weekend. More info at the following links:

Sept. 17 - Global Time Attack-along with numerous other events-will be taking place at the NASA Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Spectators should be able to enter for $5 with access to the pits. Local team Professional Awesome will be there with their super-awesome Lancer Evo as well as Chris Rado (FWING 2.0 Scion tC) and GST Motorsports with the fastest Subaru in the U.S. on the factory chassis. Go out and meet the drivers, and support Professional Awesome. There will be camping out and other fun stuffs too.
Sept. 17 (Sometime on the weekend) - South Bend Corvette Club is setting up an autocross event, Check the Events & Gatherings section for more information. It's a great chance to start autocrossing and get some good practice in!

Introductions were done today. Welcome to all the new people in the club!
Make sure dues get paid! $10 to Alex.
Next meeting's presentation will be Autocross Prep done by Takashi and 3 new guys (sorry, forgot your names).
Jordan, a recent alumni of the club, visited today and gave us some good info:
We need someone to get involved and take the lead with the gas and / or EV Grand Prix Team(s). It's a good thing to have on resumes and shows that you have teamwork abilities. Also, the EV Grand Prix is no longer just an academic deal, it's a real race so get involved!
Jordan is a proficient welder and will be available to teach you to weld (MIG, TIG, etc..). Get in touch with him to work something out if you're interested in welding.
Also, if someone has contact info for Jordan, post it here so people can get in touch with him for the welding stuffs and getting started on Grand Prix.
