Anyone still thinking about hitting up the world challenge race next weekend (6/27) at Mid-Ohio?

Also that day there is the American Le Mans race there. Should be another good battle between the Vettes and the Ferrari's. I wish i would be able to go.

Chappy and Ike, when you heading out there?

I thought about getting up stupid early and driving out, then driving back.

edit*-It might make more sense for me to hit up the Road America race in August. I gotta work till 11 saturday night

Actually I plan on heading over there Friday night.... I'll be there all weekend. Or at least that's my plan right now. ;)

Ditto to what Chappy said. I've been trying to talk to Louis (busy loading up today) to make final arrangements. I'd like to see if I can get Friday off, then I would head over Thursday evening, but if not, I'll head over Friday as soon as I get off work.

I will be there also. I think Nathan, Mike and Neil Rutan are planning on heading up there with me also. I hope Lou finally gets a good position
for once!

I know its on Sunday. What time does the actual race start?

Yeah, this weekend officially won't work for me. Tell Louis and everyone I said hi and I'm liking the brakes so far. I'll be at Road America.

LG!

Overall, it was a great weekend finished off by a great race. Everything went pretty smooth and Lou moved from 10th on the grid to finish 5th. When you consider the fact that the first three cars (Audi, Audi, Caddy) are big dollar factory backed machines and 4th would have been his given just a little more time, It's truly impressive what that team has done. Keith (black car) suffered from gearbox issues on the parade lap and was unable to start. Kevin (red car) was running a hell of a race (up to 11th or 12th I believe) but went of in the grass.

Also got a chance to see/hear the C5R's again and see the new Lamborghini's in ALMS GTS. V12 and sequential dog-box....mmmmmm :D
