So I am pretty set on having Tony detail the V, but I don't know if it would be better to have him do it right before it gets stored for the winter or right after. Any thoughts?

Nice clean car, everything works except the driver info deal on the dash. I have the part to fix it, just being lazy.

The Now Lowered Redline V and its Stable Mate

Happened to have the camera on me, but no time for a wash. Halfway through taking the pics I remembered I had some crappy tire shine in the trunk so I sprayed it on....not great results, but some of the pics look pretty good!

The V is now lowered with an Eibach Prokit. It is on stock wheels with 245/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. I kind of wish the lowering spacers made for a little more drop in the rear, but it still looks better then stock!

The CSVT (Ford Contour SVT) just has a Spec stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel. Obviously it needs the wheels powdercoated black to match :bouncy:.

I am selling my drag radials and 17" FR500 wheels. I am going a different route and not going to use a 17. Just going to use slicks and skinnies at the track and roll on 18" wheels for the street.

The tires are not on the wheels.

335/35R17 Hoosier Drag radials with 400 miles on them and 7 track passes. They have lots of life left in them. $250 for those

17x10.5 black with polished lip deep dish FR500 wheels, they are in great condition with no road rash or anything on them. $250 for those.

I know it's dirty but I will clean them up before delivery.

My own thoughts:

This car is owned by a friend of mine. I am just helping him out by posting up his for sale add. If you know of anyone that would like this please let them know and contact the seller.
This car is in pristine shape. I have spent countless hours with my friend chris on this car and know how well it is built and how much he pays attention to detail when he built this car. The car runs very strong and is a 10 second capable car. Here is the listing he posted on V8RX7 forum.

The time has come in my life where I would like to spend some money on other things. I am getting married in October and looking forward to purchasing a home. I would like to sell the rx7 or trade for something practical. Open to all kinds of trades honestly.

I bought the car in December of 07', immediately planned to swap it and it was on the road in May of 08'. In a year and a half it has roughly 12k miles on the swap. I am guessing because I didn't get my autometer speedometer in the car until this spring. The car currently shows 6200 miles, so I am assuming I drove close to that last year also.

I bought the car from a doctor in Southeastern Kentucky with a blown up rotary, he had owned the car for a long time and put quite a bit of money into it but when the motor popped that was the last straw. The car was professionally painted in early 06' and had a lot of the moldings and misc seals replaced. This was not a cheap paint job like maaco, as I said, the previous owner did care a lot about his car. It had 129k when I brought it home and was clean as a whistle so it served as the perfect platform for my swap. Below is a list of every part it has, I have receipts for most everything and I can assure you that no expense was spared.

I have had zero reliability issues with the car and I drive it all the time; for 2 months over the summer it was the only car I owned It got 26mpg on a recent trip to Bowling Green, KY from Indianapolis. The tune is dialed in and it drives perfect. You can't ask for a better street car!

On the nitrous I have to shift to 5th gear, if I had a taller tire and raised the limiter from 6800 it could run it out in 4th and pick up a few tenths and mph.

This car is well built, has the best of everything, and is an excellent example of a clean, reliable, and sorted out LS1 FC. It is a blast to drive and no one expects it to be as fast as it is.
