PCD is a chartered chapter of the Indiana College Democrats and the College Democrats of America. College Dems are active on campusand both sides of the Wabash River in the Lafayette and West Lafayette communities. 

We as an organization are committed to advancing the Democratic Party on local, state, and national levels by organizing debates, sponsoring speakers, campaigning for Democratic candidates, registering voters, standing up for the civil rights of students, and promoting the inclusive, empowering value of the Democratic Party at Purdue University.

As college students, we dedicate ourselves to representing the interests of students and youth within the political process. As Democrats, we aim to promote the principles of our party.
