12th Purdue Graduate Student Career Fair – Spring 2013
PGSG sponsors two career fairs to better suit Purdue’s Graduate Student population, one in each academic semester.
Spring Fair 2013
The Spring Fair for 2013 will be held on Wednesday, February 6th in STEW 206, 213 and 214. The Spring Fair will consist of both a Networking Breakfast and the traditional career fair.
The Networking Breakfast for the Spring Fair will take place from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. and the Poster Session from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. At the Poster Session students will have the opportunity to display their graduate work. The goal of this breakfast is to provide a different way for employers to assess candidate qualifications, while learning more about the cutting-edge research taking place at Purdue. With this in mind, we strive to create an environment where graduate students can showcase their skills. In turn, employers are able to easily identify the best candidates for their positions.
The traditional Spring career fair will follow the Networking Breakfast from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND BOTH THE BREAKFAST AND POSTER SESSION.
Fall Fair 2013
The Fall Graduate Student Career Fair will be held on TBD. This career fair was specifically created to meet the needs of graduate students and employers searching for job candidates early in the Fall semester.
Graduate student career fairs provide the opportunity for employers to attend other fairs (Industrial Round Table and EXPO). This allows company’s to be exposed to both the undergraduate and graduate student population at Purdue. Granting advanced degrees in, Purdue is known for its outstanding graduate programs. The high quality of Purdue’s graduate students, along with the exceptional reputations of the companies attending this job fair, ensure this event will be successful!
