Phi Kappa Psi was founded in 1852 upon \"the great joy of serving others\". Today, the Indiana delta chapter aims to continue this tradition.

Currently our chapter co-hosts \"Trikes for Tikes\" with Kappa Alpha Theta, which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Lafayette and CASA. This event consists of a heated tricycle race, t-shirt sales, service hours spent at the Boys and girls Club of Lafayette, a skip-a-meal, and donations from other greek organizations. Together our two chapters contributed over 200 community service hours and raised nearly 1000 dollars.

We are proud to show strong participation in other greek sponsored philanthropies as well. Our participation has increased over the past several years especially. In the 2008-09 school year we will take part in roughly 15 events not including our own. We have been very fortunate to not only attend and support other philanthropies but to also have success in them.

-In January of 2009, we were the overall men\'s champions of Anchorsplash for the third consecutive year. We were second in this events synchronized competition with an aquatic version of the famous dancing scene from Risky Business.

-In the fall semester of 2008 Phi kappa Psi along with Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Mu won the Alpha Phi Alpha Diversity Step show.

-In 2006 and 2007 we were honored with the Best in Show awards for Zeta Tau Alpha\'s Big Man on Campus.

-In 2005 we celebrated a victory in Frats at Bat.

We are happy to work with other greek organizations to help our community. The Indiana Delta chapter understands the ideals held by our founders. Service to others is an enjoyable and important part of one\'s life. In the words of Brother Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States, \"We are not here merely to make a living. We are here to enrich the world.\"
