How do I join a fraternity?
Joining a fraternity is one of the best life decisions a man can make. The college fraternal system handles member recruitment
by a program called rush. Rushing is very informal, and interested students visit fraternity houses to learn more about that
particular fraternity. During the rush program, a prospective member will receive a bid, or an offer to pledge the fraternity.

How do I rush?
Rushing is as simple as walking up to a fraternity house and meeting its members. As daunting as it is to approach a group of
fraternity men, every brother in every fraternity has done exactly that. Fraternity members realize that rushing is an exciting,
yet intimidating process, and our rush programs are designed to be very relaxed.

What's a bid?
A bid is an offer to pledge a fraternity. A rushee may choose to accept or decline a bid, and may only accept a bid from one
fraternity. Once accepting a bid, the rushee will participate in an open induction ceremony, and become a pledge to the fraternity.
Phi Psi's pledge program is typically eight weeks, and for those eight weeks a new member will learn about both Phi Psi history, general
fraternity history, the advantages of being a Phi Psi, and what it means to represent yourself as a Phi Psi, among many more things.

Why should I rush Phi Psi?
Ideally, a rushee would visit every fraternity on Purdue campus, but such an idea is simply not feasible. Phi Psi offers a very relaxed
setting during its rush program, while still being very interesting with information about our fraternity. Our rush program also tends to
include events such as bowling, dodgeball, prize bingo, and many other engaging events.

Why should I join Phi Psi?
Phi Kappa Psi, also known as Phi Psi, is a strong organization nationwide. Phi Psi strives to enrich its members with the abilities
to obtain first and foremost a well-rounded education, but even more importantly the abilities to meld its members into well-rounded men.
Phi Psi strives to achieve spiritual, moral, and intellectual excellence, and Phi Psi does this by providing the largest scholarship
endowment fund of any fraternity in America. Purdue's Phi Psi chapter alone contains over $265,000 in available scholarship
funds for undergraduates. Phi Psi also offers a leadership academy in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico free of charge during spring
break, where members will meet, listen, and learn from some of the most successful men in the United States, all brothers of the Phi Kappa Psi
fraternity. Phi Psi has 99 chartered chapters throughout the nation, boasting over 100,000+ initiated members since its founding in 1852.

Does Phi Psi haze?
Phi Kappa Psi has a national zero tolerence hazing policy. Phi Psi chapters do not haze.
