Philanthropy


Every semester, the members of Phi Sigma Kappa organize a philanthropy event and take part in numerous philanthropy events organized by other fraternities and sororities.

Phi Sig Volleyball 2006

In September, Phi Sigma Kappa will be hosting a Volleyball tournament benefiting the American Red Cross. All sororities and female cooperatives are invited to participate. For more information, contact Steve Weirich.

Spring 2006 Philanthropy Events

Hurricane Katrina Relief
Members of Phi Sigma Kappa teamed up with the Red Cross and Krispy Kream to collect money for Hurricane Katrina victims. Over $500 was raised.

Alpha Phi's Ivy Man
Members of Phi Sigma Kappa entered Alpha Phi sorority's annual Ivy Man competition, benefiting Cardiac Care. It involved arm wrestling, twinkie eating and lip synch competitions.

Sigma Kappa's Eight Ball Shoot-Out
Phil Stephenson and Justin Edington represented Phi Sigma Kappa in Sigma Kappa Sorority's Eight Ball Shoot-Out pool tournament. The event benefited Alzheimer’s Disease research.

Delta Chi and Pi Beta Phi's Dodgeball Tournament
Members of Phi Sigma Kappa participated in a dodgeball tournament sponsored by Delta Chi Fraternity and Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

WKHY Radio Dodgeball Tournament
6 brothers participated in this philanthropy event which benefited Testicular Cancer Research.
