Welcome Back

Published 2013-08-26 19:52:50

Phi Sigma Pi Gamma Alpha would like to welcome everyone back to the Fall 2013 semester. We are excited to get the semester off to a great start. Brothers, our efforts have paid off and we were recognized for them on a National level! This would not have been possible if it wasn’t for each one of you and the strides we made as a chapter. Each one of us should be proud. However, let’s continue to grow as a chapter and work to improve upon what we have already accomplished. Together we can make this semester better than the last. BOILER UP Brothers and good luck with classes.

Brothers Michael Hartel, Katherine Dennis, Siyuan Marvin, and Nicholas Terry had the opportunity to represent the Gamma Alpha Chapter at Phi Sigma Pi’s National Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. National Convention included Grand Chapter to discuss new constitutional amendments, Leadership in Action workshops, teambuilding exercise, and a variety of help sessions to strengthen individual chapters. Gamma Alpha Chapter was recognized by the National Office and received the “Sanders P. McComsey Most Improved Old Chapter Award”. This award is presented to the old chapter demonstrating the most overall improvement from the preceding year. An old chapter is defined as one that has been active for five or more full National Fraternity fiscal years. Gamma Alpha was presented with the award for brotherly bonding initiatives, new event management, and campus involvement.
