Special OlympicsWeek, Lafayette/W.Lafayette, IN
1st Annual ~ September 7-13, 2003

...was a success -- making around $3000 to be put to great use locally!!  THANKS Greater Lafayette, Indiana!

Many THANKS to so many people and organizations that helped make this special week possible!!!  We already plan to come back next year 'bigger and better' -- so keep a watch out!



The car wash was held on Saturday of SOIN Tippe Week at Lafayette Burger King on Teal Road.  There were cars waiting even before the designated start time!  



THANK YOU BURGER KING for the use of your lot/facilities and all the water used!! SOIN Tippe, ALPs, and all the athletes appreciate it so very much!  We also had lots of fun!




We even got to wash a great 1936 Ford!!

Erin McGuire was one of the primary ALPs athletes to push and make this event happen.  She was chairman of the media committee and worked directly with Paul Howell of TV18 as part of SOIN Tippe Week!!
