PET Required Fundriaiser for Members
Important information about the Celebrating Home/ Scentsy Holiday Fundraiser:
-All orders must include 7% sales tax. This is based on the total order PLUS shipping. First, total the order. Then, add in shipping to find the subtotal. Last, add in 7% of the subtotal for tax to find the grand total. This is very important, so please ask if you don't understand.
-For Scentsy shipping there are three scenarios. (1) Shipping is FREE for orders over $150 (2) Shipping is $5 for orders under $50. (3) Shipping is 10% of the order total for orders between $50 and $150. Remember to add this in BEFORE calculating sales tax.
-For Celebrating Home shipping, add $6 to each order going to a difference location. Remember to add this in BEFORE calculating salex tax. On the order form, be sure to include the shipping address underneath each person's name.
-There are extra Scentsy order forms in the office - stop by during office hours if you think you'll need them.
-Orders will arrive directly to each purchaser within 2-3 weeks from when we collect the orders (Dec. 1st)
-The only allowed methods of payment are cash or check. Please make sure cash is in an envelope and clearly labeled with your name, the purchasers information, and which Fundraiser it is for. All checks for both fundraisers should be made out to Purdue Equestrian Team or PET.
-PLEASE do NOT use a credit card on the Scentsy order forms even though there is an area for you to do so. Purdue will not allow us to do this, so I cannot ensure orders will be made if you try to use a credit card.
We will be collecting all orders at the meeting on December 1st. Please put all of your orders for both fundraisers back into the large envelope that we gave you, and make sure your name is on it. Don't forget that you are required to sell either $50 worth of merchandise or 5 items, whichever you prefer. This can be from a combination of the two fundraising options.

Due to the increased importance of fundraising to our team a new committee has been created in order to better organize and imply fundraising events and efforts. Purdue University is requiring the Purdue Equestrian Team to raise $23,000 by June 2014 to ensure that our seven lesson horses continuously have enough funds to be properly cared for at all times. This amount of money must be raised on top of normal expenses which the team is responsible for, including: board, vet services, farrier fees, and horse show facility fees.
