PUSH America

Push America, a non-profit organization serving people with disabilities, is the national outreach project of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. The mission of Push America is to provide service, promote volunteerism, and foster education and awareness on behalf of persons with disabilities nationwide. Undergraduates raise funds for Push America that benefit many projects and programs sponsored by Push America including the donation of adaptive equipment for the disabled. These "partnership grants" can range from the donation of a specially-designed personal computers to the construction of fully-accessible playgrounds. Student members of Pi Kappa Phi also reach out to people of all ages through Push America’s educational programs.

At Purdue, Push America is an important part of our fraternity experience. We believe that "service to others" is the best example of what words like "fraternity" and "brotherhood" are all about. That is why we enjoy the time we enjoy the time we spend volunteering in the community so much. We are both proud and excited about the good work Push America is able to accomplish through the financial support of chapters like ours.
