    Our Goal
With students from 120 countries, Purdue is ranked second in international student enrollment. PISA’s aim is to bring this diverse group of students together to create a fun atmosphere that promotes the sharing and learning of different cultures. Whether you’re an international student looking to connect with students from your home country, want to learn about and meet people from different countries, or just want to have a good time, PISA is for you.

    What Is PISA?
PISA was started in 2005 by Jun Chon as a club for International and American students at Purdue University. He wanted to build strong relationships that extended beyond Purdue, while also learning about other cultures. We started as a small club, but have grown into an organization with members from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and majors. Our mission is to create an environment that fosters diversity and learning from sharing while having fun and enjoying our time at Purdue!

    Who is in PISA?
PISA is open to Purdue undergrad students, exchange students, graduate students and faculty. PISA is not just for international students; We warmly welcome American students too. We have had members from a variety of different states, countries and cultures. The more members we have, the heartier it is!

    What do we do?
PISA holds general meetings on Fridays. During these meetings we have games, cultural presentations, guest presentations and other activities. We also hold major events that include cookouts, functions with other Purdue groups, movie nights, trips, community service and other group activities. We also have a Membership Training retreat every semester that lasts three days. It offers a chance to spend time with other PISA members and learn more about the club’s overall goals.
