Any other fun, random facts you'd like to share?: When I first came to the U.S., I was at a birthday party and I said something like "That is a funny c[r]own" instead of c[l]own because I was still mixing my [l] and [r], and a mean first grader sneered and made fun of me and I cried. Now, if I ever run into that girl again, I can tell her a thing or two about phonemes and allophones. Then I'd beat her up.
