Pat Boling
Pat Boling, the faculty adviser of POWER, has been at Purdue since 1992. She got her PhD in political science at UC Berkeley, and has areas of specialization in feminist political theory, public law, public policy, and women's studies. She is jointly appointed in women's studies and political science and teaches courses on women and the law, family policy, and feminist theory. She has a particular interest and expertise on Japan, and has lived there on various research stays for some 4 years. Pat's research these days is concerned with policies that support working mothers in the US, and other peer countries: Germany, France and Japan. She is also working on a casebook on women and the law.
