An integral part of the RHA is our programming, and this is the committee that runs it. Following this link will take you to an overview of what the programming committee is like and what their duties are during the school year.

Overview

The purpose of the Residence Hall Association shall be to promote coordination and cooperation among the Residence Halls of Purdue University, to provide a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to the residents of said Halls, to serve as a liaison between residents and Purdue University Residences, and to foster an environment which encourages programming and a sense of community among all residents in Purdue Residence Halls.

Membership

Membership in the RHA shall consist of students residing in dues paying resdience hall clubs of Purdue University Residences. The representatives shall be elected by their respective Halls on a yearly basis before the transition meeting of the RHA.

Officers

There are General Assembly Representatives of their respective halls who have voting rights within the RHA. As well as the GA there are officer positions with speaking rights. These positions are President, Vice President, Director of Programming, Director of Public Relations, Director of Issues and Facilities, Secretary, and Treasurer. Along with speaking rights, these positions hold responsibilities outlined in our Constitution. If you want a copy of the Constitution, please contact us.
