'Tis the Season! It is that time of year and PRSSA has decided to spread some holiday cheer. As a way to give back to the community we have chosen to help out St. John's/LUM Food Pantry. With economic times as tough as they are, high heat costs, and a softening job market, many new families are turning to organizations such as St John's/LUM this holiday season. Because of this they need our help. During our next meeting on Wednesday, November, 19th we will be collecting canned goods as well as other non-perishables (cereal, tuna, kidney beans, spaghetti suace, tomato sauce, tomato paste and whole or diced tomatoes). No time to make it to the store? We will also be collecting any change or money you would like to donate as well, so that they can purchase other items they need for the Food Pantry. Think of others this holiday season and help PRSSA give back to the community.

Other ways to help:

  • Make a financial contribution to LUM's Centralized Emergency Fund
  • Serve as a Food Pantry volunteer. Call Jane Vanable at 463-5168
  • If you have time and a pick-up truck you could help shop for and transport food
  • For more information check out there website here
