Welcome to the Purdue University Pi Sigma Alpha Delta Omega chapter website. The purpose of Pi Sigma Alpha is to stimulate productive scholarship and intelligent interest in the subject of government among students at institutions of higher learning in which chapters are maintained. Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, is the only honor society for college and university students of government in the United States. At present, there are 621 Pi Sigma Alpha chapters on campuses across the country. The chapters are located in departments of political science in accredited four-year institutions throughout the country. Each chapter is guided by a faculty member serving as Chapter Advisor, and elected student chapter officers. The Purdue University Delta Omega chapter was established in 1967.
