As many of you already know, PSEC is selling t-shirts this year for education
majors. The t-shirt design has slightly changed from the original design. Due
to printing issues, we will be changing the quote that appears on the back of
the shirt.
The quote is now, "I touch the future. I teach." quoted by Christa McAuliffe.
The rest of the t-shirt will be the exact same. The exact details are listed
below, in a copy of the original email. If you have already ordered a t-shirt
and have now changed your mind due to this issue, please e-mail Carly at
cmelchio@purdue.edu or Carrie at Croyal@purdue.edu.

PSEC
aims to achieve the following goals:
1. to address
the needs and concerns of education students
2. to establish increased involvement of students in meaningful
activities relating to the field of education
3. to create more out-of-class interaction among students, faculty,
and administration
Purdue Student Education Council's overall goal is to maintain communication between education students, faculty, and staff. We also try to provide opportunities for members to connect on more personal levels through events we host and our member meetings in which we offer guest speakers that relate to our field of education. In the past we have had principals, a student teacher panel, advisors from Office of Field Experiences, advisors from the Office of Professional Preparation and Licensure, and study abroad students.
Our two main events consist of the fall Greet & Gobble in which faculty, staff, and students can informally chat about education and their experiences while sharing a meal together, and the Spring Forum in which we invite all education majors to share their valued feedback with the College of Education faculty through a question and answer forum. These opportunities to interact together are what makes Purdue's COE so very successful. We look foward to your participation!

PSEC is open to all education majors who demonstrate leadership skills, are currently a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the field of education, a student at Purdue in the school of education or earning a certificate at another school, and willingness to contribute to the evaluation of Purdue's educational programs.
