ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Guns
You may bring your own. The club has Remington 1100's, Remington 1187's and Beretta 390's for trap and skeet in 12 or 20 gauge. Intercollegiate clay target competitions is all 12 gauge.

Range Officers
Purdue University Club Sports requires us to provide a range officer and assistant range officer during shooting hours. These officers are club members who donate their time to the club. Therefore, we able to be open daily only if the club members are willing to support the club in this manner. We can provide instruction to those who would like to work as a range officer.

Intercollegiate Competition
Trap and skeet are club sports. All student club members are eligible to compete.

Shooting Safety
We follow the same gun safety rules as other gun clubs. These rules are posted at the range. Two basic rules are: Gun must be broken open or action open except when standing on the station ready to shoot. If there is a malfunction at any time when ready to shoot, the gun is immediately unloaded.


Shooting Instructions
Beginning shooters are welcome. We will be pleased to provide basic instruction for trap and/or skeet.
