spring league
Program:
Rules & Saftey
The following safety regulations MUST be met at all times while competing and/or shooting at the Trap and Skeet Club’s range.
- Never have ammunition in the gun until it is your turn to shoot.
- Never point the firearm at anyone or anything you do not intend on shooting, even with an unloaded gun.
- Always keep your firearm pointed downrange, away from everyone and range facilities.
- If you need assistance DO ask a certified range officer.
- Never look down the end of the barrel of the firearm.
In regard to shooting procedures.
- You will need to either have paid for the entire league at the start of the competition ($25) or pay each week before shooting ($7).
- Shoot one round of trap (25 targets) and one round of skeet (25) following the proper rules. If you have any questions consult a range officer.
- You will be responsible for finding someone other than yourself
to score your targets for both trap and skeet.
The range officer should be able to help you, but may be busy with another group. - Have a good time shooting!
- After scores have been recorded, each shooter needs to sign the
score sheet and place it in the proper place
in the club house for the range officer to take for recording purposes.
Thanks to everyone for helping out with the league. Please give us your feedback as the weeks continue so that we can make it even better for the future.
