The Purdue Trap and Skeet club is an entirely student-run organization. Therefore, we rely on student members to staff the range and fill officer positions. Each year, we struggle to find enough students to fill our need of positions. Range hours depend on student schedules, so the more students we have, we will be able to open the range more often.
One way to get involved is to become a Range Officer. Range Officers open and run the range based on their availability and willingness. In order to becoming a Range Officer, you must pass a CPR/AED/First Aid certification and open with a current Range Officer a few times as training. As an added bonus, you get 2 free rounds every time you open ($20 value)!
As a Purdue Trap and Skeet Board Member, you take responsibility for the club and make decisions in how the club is operated. Each year, we rely on several students to fill a variety of important positions in the club. Ask us for more information on how you can get involved and make a difference!
