2005 - Purdue sends both men's and women's teams to Intercollegiate Nationals. This Men's team placed 16th and women (2 on the
team) placed 11th, with an overall ranking of 14th in the nation. IRC also included Wright State this year.
2004 - Purdue participates in Intercollegiate Nationals for the first time.
The team of 6 placed 19th in men's rankings. Continued partication in the expanding IRC.
2003 - Purdue ranks 3rd in state for clubs. Purdue
also takes part in founding the Intercollegiate Racquetball
Conference (IRC) with Ohio State, Wisconsin-Madison, and Baldwin Wallace.
2001 - Membership increased to 107. The Club ranked 6th in
the state and had 2 state champions.
1991-2000 - The memberships have drastically declined,
with 45 members being the average for those years.
1991 -Membership was 120. The Club placed 1st overall in
the Midwest Collegiate Regionals, women placed 1st, men placed
second. At the world Intercollegiate Championships, the club placed
15th out of 59 clubs.
1986-1990 -The club membership
fluctuated with the high being 130 members and a low count of 77 in
1988.
1985 -Membership was 200. The Club ranked 3rd at the AARA
National Finals. 41 schools competed at the finals. Purdue dominated
the non-varsity schools. The women's team placed 3rd at the
nationals and the men's team placed 5th.
1984 -Members increased to 202. The club ranked 5th in the
nation at the AARA National Championships. The Club took first place
at the regional championships.
1983 -The club increased in members to 140 with 4 members
competing in the National Finals.
1977 -The racquetball Club received recognition in April
of 1977 and had 49 initial members.
