Research

My research interests are in the area of international trade and development. I am interested in how international trade and human capital accumulation interact in developing countries. The main body of my work is involved in understanding, how 1) low schooling and high child labor affect export structures of developing countries and, 2) how specialization patterns in turn, affect schooling outcomes in developing countries. My dissertation title is Essays on International Trade, Schooling and Child Labor.
