We’re going to France Park again this Sunday, leaving at 11am.

Open Water certification classes start in two weeks. If interested, you must pay a non-refundable $100 deposit to “Purdue Scuba Club” through the Stewart Center mailbox #517 by this Friday, September 19th. See details in the Get Certified section.

Advanced Open Water certification class October 18th and 19th. Email dccronin@purdue.edu if interested.

A group of us are going to France Park this Sunday. We’re leaving at 8:45 from the gravel parking lot in between the armory and the pharmacy building, and we will return late afternoon. If you are interested, email Dave Cronin.

On Thursday, August 28th, the Purdue Scuba Club will be at the organization bonanza located by the Union from 11am to 4pm. If anyone would like to volunteer an hour of their time to helping out, you will get a free Scuba Club shirt.

Our callout dates are Thursday September 4th and Wednesday September 10th at 7:00pm in SMTH 118 (located next to LILY).

Our final meeting of the semester will be this Thursday, April 24th at 6pm in LILY G432. If you worked a basketball game during the ‘07-’08 academic year and have not picked up a new shirt, come to the meeting and get one for free!

The Purdue University Scuba Club accepts members of all ages and experience levels, from technical divers to people who want to get certified. If you are new to the site and want to get involved, just sign up for the email list, our primary means of communication.

Spring 2008 Callouts are listed above. The first callout had a great number of people so let your friends know about the second one.

The Purdue Basketball fundraising is underway. Check out the Funds section for remaining games to sign up for.

Plans for this semester include Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications, Spring Break trips, and other dives TBA.
