AAPS National Membership
The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) is a
professional and scientific society with over 12,000 members from industry,
academia (students and faculty), government, and other research institutes
throughout the world. Founded in 1986, AAPS's vision is to "be the premier
organization of all scientists dedicated to the discovery, development and
manufacture of pharmaceutical products and therapies through advances in
science and technology". The mission of AAPS is that the organization
"provides a dynamic international forum for the exchange of knowledge among
scientists to enhance their contributions to health". To achieve this
mission, AAPS offers numerous scientific programs, annual national
conferences, ongoing education, networking opportunities, as well as
resources for professional development.
