Philanthropy

Since 1982, Sigma Delta Tau’s national philanthropy organization is Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). The goal of PCAA is to build awareness, provide education, and inspire hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children. Each year SDT chapters around the country put on philanthropy events and fundraisers to donate about $90,000 each year to PCAA.

In the springtime we host our annual “All You Can EAT” contest to raise money for PCAA. In addition, we participate in The Villages of West Lafayette’s Family Fun Fair benefitting PCAA during Child Abuse Prevention Month. Sisters create and set up a carnival game for children of the West Lafayette community to play and win prizes! We also participate in other Greek’s philanthropies and community service projects throughout the year.
