I am a professor of Philosophy and American Studies and a member of the Women's Studies committee and the Philosophy and Literature Program at Purdue University. As part of the graduate faculty in American Studies, I enjoy team-teaching courses with colleagues in other disciplines. Besides my research and teaching on the relation of theory and practice in pragmatism and feminism, I've also been asked to address issues in such disciplines as law and social science, psychology, sociology, political science, religion, occupational science, and American history.
