The officers of the Purdue SIAM student chapter would like to announce the group's second social event. The event will be held on Wednesday March 5 in HAAS 111 from 5-6pm. It will begin immediately after the CS&E seminar talk given by Rishikesh Venugopal (also in HAAS 111). We will have sandwiches from Subway, along with other refreshments.

As you know, the SIAM student chapter was started this academic year.With all of the formalities involved in starting such an organization out
of the way, the group is now finding its feet and looking to better serve its intended purposes. With this in mind, it is a great time for our interdisciplinary group to get together. We hope to see many of you there.
