On Friday, April 17, 2009, ACM SIGGRAPH IUPUI Student Chapter will host a Student Exhibition. Members of SIGGRAPH strive for excellence in the following areas: Graphic Design, Illustration, Interactive Design, Gaming, Visualization, and 3D Graphics. We are calling out to industry leaders in these fields to come see what our students have to offer.
This exhibition is not a job fair. It is a student-run and marketed event. Industry professionals will be present to network and privately recruit students who appeal to their specific business interests. This Student Exhibition is a win-win for all participants! In collaboration with the IUPUI Student Chapter hosting the event, our Purdue chapter will be traveling down to Indianapolis for the exhibition. If you are interested in attending the event for free, or in displaying your works, please read the information below.
Entrance into the event itself is free! You do not need to sign up for a table to attend, only if you wish to display your work. If you would like to display your work at the exhibition, have a table, and have your work in the enhibition demo presentation, then you must pay $25. This fee helps pay for food, set up, marketing, etc. and also makes you a member of the IUPUI SIGGRAPH Chapter. For specific questions about the event itself, feel free to contact the SIGGRAPH IUPUI Adviser, Zeb Wood (zwood@iupui.edu).
