Greek Community

No Matter the Letter, We're All Greek Together

Purdue University is proud to host the third largest Greek community in the nation with approximately 5,000 students participating in one of the 45 men's fraternities and 25 women's sororities. Although large, the Greek community at Purdue is a close-knit one. Together, we help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit our organizations’ individual philanthropies. This is just one of the many ways that friendships are built throughout the various Greek houses here at Purdue.

Sigma Kappa is very active in the Greek community. In addition to hosting our own philanthropic event, to benefit Alzheimer’s Disease research, we also participate in numerous other philanthropies with fraternities and sororities.
