Help with SAS (for Stat 512)

To obtain SAS software on your own computer, you can borrow the installation CD’s by showing your student ID in Stewart B-14.  This is free through a site license.

Here is a nice introduction to SAS, which also points out some common errors of first-time users.

Don’t forget to

-         end each command with a semicolon

-         end your input program with a run statement

You can get personal help with SAS Mon-Thurs, 7-9pm in PHYS 117, beginning Wed. Aug. 24, 2005.

For details see the Statistics department website about these sessions.

The Statistical Consulting Service also provides SAS help in MATH G-175, Mon-Fri 10am—4pm.  For more information, follow the given link and then choose “Software Consulting Schedule”.
