Map of Kaladè
Here is a map of Kaladè, which was drawn in the year 6689. By the end of the series I am currently working in, the map will change quite a bit, which is unforunate, as it means I have to go back to Photoshop and change things around... again. This particularly map is probably the fourth recarnation of Kaladè.
It is roughly the size of India. The weather is temperate, much like the Midwest of the U.S. This choice was most likely inspired by where I live, which is also why it doesn't get too cold in Kaladè... hate Indiana. Kaladè is composed of large plains and forests, and its terrian is mountainous and hilly, with a few flat portions in the south. The continent has four seasons, during which its inhabitants are inflicted by snow, hail, rain, etc; rain is very prominent.
I have always had a fascination with maps, particularly old-fashioned ones, and like to image what those places would be like and what it would be like to visit various places on those maps.
