I have taught composition, literature, writing exam prep, and ESL writing courses at various institutions in both traditional and computer-based classes (CBC), but I prefer the constant access to technology that a CBC provides.

Each fall semester, I teach an undergraduate tutor training course, ENGL 390A, for the Writing Lab at Purdue. This section of the undergraduate tutoring practicum in writing prepares prospective tutors to work with students in introductory composition courses.

Students in the course use a Night Kitchen e-book, which packages commentary and readings in an electronic format. Students also have access to notetaking tools within the e-book environment.
