Purdue's Timmy Foundation Club operates on the following four pillars:

  1. To provide primary and secondary medical attention to people with little or no access to medical care.
  2. To provide a life changing experience for students (with regard to both medicine and international perspective).
  3. To lay the groundwork for a vibrant, self-sustaining club at Purdue University by taking service trips every spring break with a base of volunteers working locally throughout the year on service projects.
  4. To contribute to the network of doctors worldwide who share a common interest in global medicine (in both its practices and policies).
