Packet Pickup:

Packet pickup will occur at Tri-N-Run located at 13 N Earl Ave., Lafayette, IN (http://g.co/maps/xfj2h) from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Friday 9/23. If you are able to pick up your packet on Friday, please do so. This will help us reduce the congestion on Saturday. If you are unable to pick up your packet on Friday, you can pick it up on Saturday from 7:00 - 8:30 am. Absolutely no one will be allowed to
race without picking up their packet, and no packets will be distributed after 8:30a on Saturday. It is a USAT rule that you must pick up your own packet, you cannot pick up another person’s packet even with confirmation. Everyone will have to pick up their timing chip and get body markings on the morning of the race.  Please remember to bring identification.  (College Students, this means bringing your Student ID).  Additionally, if you are a registered USAT member, please remember to bring your membership card.  If you do not have it with you at the time of packet pick up you will either have to go get it, print a temporary one off line, or pay for a one day membership. No ID, No Packet. Attached to this email you will find two waivers which you must complete. For the club sports form, we only require the first page to be completed.  We will have copies available at packet pickup, but to speed up the process, please print and fill it out ahead of time if you can.

We will have marshals out on the course, but per USAT rules, you are responsible for knowing the route. Maps can be found online at http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~triclub/boilerman_course.html . We will have Lafayette Limo providing a shuttle service to the race site in the morning and then again after the race it will bring people back to McCutcheon High School. The shuttle will be equipped with a trailer to carry bikes as well. Racers are allowed to ride their bikes to and from the race site, but please wear your helmets and beware of active traffic while crossing roads. The shuttle will run from 7-9am, and then completely stop until 11:30a-2p. This shuttle is providing service for spectators too, so if your fans arrive late, they will have to find another way to the transition area.

Miscellaneous

The race will go on rain or shine. In the case of lightning or thunder, we will be forced to cancel the swim and substitute a run bike run format.
