Tridib K. Saha is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.

I am concentrating on the Power & Energy and Controls area of Electrical Engineering. My area of interest lie within Power Electronics, Controls & Optimization, Renewable energy, Hybrid Vehicles.

I am currently fully-funded through Purdue’s Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program as a graduate teaching assistant. I help guide about 40 undergraduate students collaborate with each other in creating assistive technology for disabled individuals, elementary educational devices, kiosk, apps for local elementary schools and earthquake simulation devices and software for Purdue University.

I finished my BSc in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in May 2013. During my undergraduate life I have actively participated in several project work with EPICS, ECE Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) and EcoCar. I also have two summer research fellowships in 2011 and 2012, where I have contributed my skills in the fields of Controls.  I have achieved two academic scholarships from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Purdue University.

I have also completed the Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Purdue University. Thus my interest not only lies in the technical Electrical Engineering, however, I am also interested in starting a business of my own in the future in my areas of interest in the future.

I was also an Resident Assistant (RA) for Purdue Residential Life Staff at Hawkins Hall. I have gained a lot of leadership, communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills through that experience.

  2. Trying to find a suitable research topic for continuation to PhD in Electrical Engineering.

  3. Got fully funded by Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program as a half time graduate teaching assistant for the whole Masters Degree.

  4. Chose to stay at Purdue to continue Masters in Electrical Engineering in the Power & Energy and Controls Area.
