A Short Introduction
Now that you have visited my web page, let me take the privilege of introducing myself.
I am Venkattraman, currently pursuing my PhD in the School of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Purdue University. I completed my Undergraduate Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and graduated in July 2007 after which I got my Master's from the School of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Purdue University in May 2009. Though I attended a lot of schools, I could say that I did the most important part of my schooling in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, India.
My research interests include theory & computationnon-equilibrium flows & plasma physics, Direct simulation Monte Carlo and related particle techniques, Micro/nano fluidics, Numerical methods for solution of Boltzmann equation, Hypersonic flows.
My advisor at Purdue is Alina Alexeenko.
