College of Liberal Arts (March 2009 - Present)
- Faculty database (ColdFusion and SQL Server 2008, example)
- Photo gallery (built in the CMS, Serena Collage. Very easy to create a gallery, just upload photos! Used for theatre productions and student work)
- Faculty Research Grants Google Map (a lot of JavaScript and XML pushed out of Serena Collage and currently Cascade Server)
- Javascript image slideshow for CLA Homepage (was once a Flash banner, re-did to make it more compatible with Apple's lousy products)
- Every single Liberal Arts department has been migrated from Serena Collage to Cascade Server. A handful of the departments were initially moved from flat HTML files into Serena Collage during 2009-2010.
- Modern Fiction Studies book reviews database (ColdFusion, Access)
- Honors Program application form (ColdFusion, Javascript, and a database admin front-end behind password protection)
- Liberal Arts Video Monitor (this was initially completed during my time at PMC, but I did a large revision while I was employed in Liberal Arts that added support for videos and changed the code to ActionScript 3 amongst other things)
- Modern Fiction Studies - I've done some large database projects for them, all built in ColdFusion and Microsoft Access
- Book Reviews database - A system built so that they can enter details about a book review and then send out e-mails to potential reviewers. The reviewers then submit their review through special log-in links in the system and the MFS faculty have the ability to send feedback and allow the reviewer to submit any revisions until it's marked to be published.
- Essays database - A kind of extension on the Book Reviews database, only in this system essay authors can submit an essay to the system at any time. The essay is reviewed by MFS and if approved, they send review requests out to 2 or 3 reviewers. The reviewers get special log-in URLs to submit their review and their feedback about the essay. MFS then judges from the reviewers feedback whether or not the essay is worth publishing and allows the original essay author to submit revisions if necessary.
- Web server move - Not really a web project but it was interesting moving all the files from one web server to another, re-doing all the folder permissions and new folder paths, setting up virtual directories and sub-domains, redirects, and making sure everything works.
